Kyung Sung

Location: Jeonju, South Korean cultural village

Vacationers can stay a night here at the Kyun Sung motel which offers the traditional accommodations: a heated floor mat, traditional Korean breakfast, and the historic village of Jeonju at your doorstep. The building is decked with the classic tile roof, but the house itself is exceptionally modern, playing off of the grids and patterns that even ancient buildings display. The main difference is that these windows use glass instead of translucent rice paper. High contrast of light and dark and a dignified dark red accent color make this building stand out on the street.
