Ritual: Spicing Food W2, D3

Meal 1: Eggs with rice, vegetables, and curry sauce

Spices: Curry sauce from yesterday (turmeric, curry, cumin, and paprika)

It was such a relief to be able to eat indoors today, especially because of the wet conditions outside. I used my curry sauce I made yesterday to spice some rice and vegetables and fried them up with an egg. In the future I think I will add more tomato to my curry and make it a higher concentration.

Meal 3: Sweet potatoes and asparagus

Spices: Chives, cilantro, and garlic salt

I normally just spice my potatoes with salt, pepper, and some Extra Spicy Mrs. Dash mix when I bake them, but today I needed to mix it up a bit since I had already used those flavors earlier in the week. I poured some melted salted butter over them to make sure I still got that flavor in there (not cheating!), but then I tried this combo of spices that I had never used before. It turned out delicious! My roommate agreed. When picking the spices, I went off of the smell and my own prior knowledge/experience/watching my mom cook. I think the next time I make potatoes I will add some dill.
